Vocabulary

espresso – strong small drink made from coffee beans

coffee – a strong drink like espresso with more water in it

grind (V) = Mince – to cut by using a lot of pressure

eg: They need to grind that beef. So they can make hamburgers. Because they don’t have any ground(adj) beef now.

mince (V) = Grind – to cut into very very small pieces,

eg: those dumplings have minced pork in them.

Dumplings are Chinese food. Hamburgers are west people’s food. They have different cooking style, and hamburger is fast food, and dumpling is not. when you making for dumplings you need prepare a lot. You need to prepare meat vegetable and ginger or some other things. but hamburgers are made of two bread and some meat and vegetable. But they both delicious food. They both use some mince meat to put into that. Hamburger use two breads and put the meat in middle. And dumpling is to use rice around mince meat. –


Dumplings were most likely invented in China, yet they are common all over the world. Hamburgers became popular in America, and are now common in most countries. They have different ways to be cooked. Hamburgers are usually fast food, and dumplings are  very convenient, but not quite fast food. when you make for dumplings you need to prepare a lot. You need to mince some meat and vegetables like ginger or garlic. But hamburgers are made of two pieces of bread and some ground beef. You can put some fresh vegetables, like lettuce or tomato, on top of the burger. But they both delicious food. They both use some mince meat. . Some dumpling use rice around the mince meat as a wrapper.
