we have a product called an “Occasion table”

What’s the occasion? (What’ s the special reason for this?)

a few of us got together (Personal, not planned for work)

eg: A few of us got together for lunch.

Don’t go to Golden Mountain in Bangkok, it’s a lame(not cool) tourist trap.

I was thinking back on my college years (Thinking about that past time)

treat – to pay for someone

eg: He treated us to lunch. / He took a few of us out for lunch.

eg: Don’t worry about the bill. It’s Amy’s treat.

eg: It’s my treat. (I will pay for you)

your turn – you have waited to do something, some others did it before you

eg: It’s my turn to pay. You paid last time.

eg: We just have one desk at our office and 10 employees. So we have to take turns using the desk. We each get 45 min a day.

eg: It’s our turn to win.

eg: You need to wait your turn.

down payment – pay part of the total, usually about 30%

eg: The apartment costs 2.3M Yuan. So the down payment is about 690,000 yuan.

eg: We put 690,000 down.

eg: If I make a bigger down payment, we can make smaller monthly payments.

deposit – some money paid, then returned after the deal is finished.

eg: We rented an apartment, and paid a 4000 yuan deposit. When we moved out, the landlord returned out 4000 yuan.

a loan – money borrowed from someone

eg: We took out a loan from the bank.

eg: The bank will take care of our down payment, and we will pay back the loan.

eg: I have a few small loans, but I can pay them all back.

eg: They approved / rejected his loan application.
