Vocabulary

BB Gun – shoots small round ball

Pellet Gun – Same gun as BB gun, but you can put pellets in it.

eg: My dad has a pellet gun to shoot pests.(bad animals, insects)

Camping – sleeping in nature, usually for a few days, and going hiking, cooking outside, swimming, climbing

eg: My parents really love going camping.

Tent – a thing you can take with you and stay inside of it, made of fabric and some light metal poles.

eg: Why do you take a tent to the park?
You can avoid the sun. And you need to put something down to sit on.

creek – small river, you can probably walk through it

eg: There are a lot of creeks near my home.

inflatable – something you can blow air into, to make a big shape, like a ball, or a boat, chair

eg: My brother always makes me inflate (V.) the boat.

eg: We have an inflatable boat.

raft – very simple boat, just the flat bottom part, no sides.

Grammar

the distance it was very high

did I tell you I played this board and fell down made my head shake – did I tell you that I went snowboarding and fell down and my head hit the ground.

before that I have mistake less time – before that I didn’t make many mistakes. And didn’t fall much.

eg: My parents have been driving us there for three years. They drive us to the camping place every Summer.
