F2F Class Notes (Tibo) [S]

Today we focused on:

Discussing communication

Speaking exercise

Maybe just depends when you communicate with them you will know what they are interesting and their conversation style maybe I will just move to their style so just talking and same understanding. I just found a funny behavior. for India persons if they think yes they will just ….
first time I will think I am confused is it yes or no.

I think for Chinese it depends on the age, if you meet the old generation like my mother they will be more  behave more formal and you just kind and its like a good person, make me feel everything is better but if you are meet with the same age we can talking everything because we have the same values and the same experience so there are so many topics we can discuss so it is more flexible to communicate with my same age kinds. and if you meet a child, from 3 to 8… so you need to nicely and just change your sound like a little cute.

Actually my life is more simple so probably I just communicate with my colleagues so if need some kind of ….. I think they don’t like to OT and they need to more relaxed and they want to have …. workflow it is hard to teach them and they don’t want to do the same work time from time and they have their own ideas and their own solutions to solve the problem so you need to persuade them to use my ways to complete the work. it is a little hard, they will not just you said do that and follow accordingly they want to change they think it can be more simplified and you need to discuss with their own ideas.

I think from my experience first I need to change what the topic I need to talk with , need to discuss with him or her then if I am not familiar with I will first communicate with other persons who are more familiar with to know the communication style and then can a little change my way to help me solve the problem more efficiently.

I don’t afraid of change if it must change I accept change but it is not easy but from behavior it is very hard. it depends if you want to change the process you need to spend more time on the first change but after that you will gain some time. And the other way is for ongoing cases you need to spend more time on older processes. if I am too busy for daily work then OK I will keep it but if I have time then I can change the process it depends.
First you must need to spend time for the first version of the training material then after you have conduct the training I know what part need to change but that is not change a lot just change a little again and again so I think it is ok. The problem is if the process you need to cover many departments or team to change it is very difficult. They all have their own responsibilities you need to think if you add the workload then they will not accept. I think it is hard but you think the training all depends myself I think it is ok no problem.

Maybe it just depends, when you communicate with them you will realize/discover what they are interested in  and their communication style maybe I will just adapt to/imitate their style to create a better understanding

I just found out / noticed  a funny behavior.  When Indian people agree with something  they will just move their head from left to right / oscillate their head. / while most people tilt their head up to down when they agree with something, Indians on the hand go from left to right.

The first time I saw that I was confused . is it yes or no. / I didn’t know what they meant. I think for Chinese it depends on the age, if you meet someone from the old generation like my mother they will expect you to behave more formally and you need to be kind and look like a good person and pretend everything is ok.

but if you meet with someone from the same age group we can talk about everything because we have the same values and the same experience so there are so many topics we can discuss so it is more flexible when I  communicate with people with/of the same age . And if you meet a child, from 3 to 8… so you need to change your voice and make it sound a little cute / very gentle.

Actually my life is more simple so I probably just communicate with my colleagues I think they don’t like to OT and they need to be more relaxed  / need to work in a relaxed way / you can’t really rush them.

They always want to add their own style to something…. so it is hard to teach them something
they don’t want to repetitive work and they have their own ideas and their own solutions to solve problems so you need to persuade them to use your ways to complete the work. It is a little hard, it requires tact they will not just  do what you said and follow accordingly they always  want to change things and make them more simple and you need to discuss their own ideas.

I think from my experience first I need to change what the topic of the conversation ,
I will first communicate with other people who are more familiar with that person to know the communication style and then I can adapt my ways to help me solve the problem more efficiently.

I am not afraid of change if it must change I accept change but it is not easy to implement.
it depends if you want to change the process you need to spend more time on the first change but after that you will save some time. And the other way is for ongoing cases you need to spend more time on older processes. if I am too busy for daily work then OK I will keep it but if I have time then I can change the process it depends.
First you must need to spend time for the first version of the training material then after you have conducted the training you know what part needs to change but that is just requires small changes . The problem is if the process includes many departments or teams then change is very difficult. They all have their own responsibilities you need to think if you add something to their workload then they will not accept it. I think it is hard but on the other hand training all depends on myself I think it is ok no problem.
