My name is Apple, I graduated from Shanghai University and went to my current company in 2004. My major is finance.
Im in finance team but I am in charge in compliance team. I think for the finance tea I just worked on some routine tasks and I think they can be replaced by robots so I want to transfer to some functional team more related to analysis. So in 2013 there is a chance I can change my job because some of finance functions were outsourced to company hp then have some person were lost their job and we designed some new titles.
We can apply for these new jobs by interview by HR and my manager. Company needs to reduce some headcount because the remaining jobs have be reduced but the job titles are opened to all the staff and if you got the job you can stay.

At that time I transferred to compliance team it is a new function in 2013 and first my role is compliance team leader, later in 2015 my manager resigned and another regional guy was acting as the compliance representative then he was resigned in 2017 so I was promoted at that time then I need to report the regional compliance officer and he is India so I need to communicate with him frequently. Also in June  our global compliance officer came to Shanghai after she communicated with me she thinks my English is ok but still needs to improve.
I think for writing it is ok for me it is more related to speaking. My vocabulary is limited only I have well prepared then it is ok but if you need to give some ideas or discussions or confcalls and need to give the answers immediately it is hard for me. Translate from Chinese to English some words I don’t know how to express that is my problem.

The week before last week I attend a leadership training, all the course is in English and we need to discussion the topic in English.
I think it is hard for me to read those materials in limited time then when discussion I just can give some simple ideas but cannot express deeply . then after in the team break to communicate with other people such as tell the experience or troubles.

We could apply for these new jobs by/through interviews with the HR and my manager. The company needed to reduce the headcount because the to match the organization chart and new positions were opened to all existing staff if you got the job you could stay.

If I have well prepared a topic then it is ok / only when I have well prepared a topic is it ok.

but if I need to give some ideas or discuss in con fcalls and need to give the answers immediately it is hard for me.
When I translate from Chinese to English I miss some words and I don’t know how to express the meaning that is my problem.

I like my coach, he is funny and experienced. I was exhausted after all these exercises. When I came home, it was 7 o’clock. I took 20 minutes to finish my dinner. Then I prepared my presentation PPT to be used in department meeting, I had to use the standard format provided by my boss and did not allow any amendment, because my boss is an opinionated person. Everything should totally follow his instruction, otherwise it will impact the relationship between us.
