A Chinese novel, it is the top 10 of the recent booklist.
It’s about a human, he is very famous, he is a soldier, a general, high level, He is handsome and did very well in the army and he is a doctor and very good at surgery, he is a very good person but then there are some rumors or gossips happen to him. He loses his status. Left the army and went back to the village and had a low profile living but the people in the village also will have gossips around him. in the year of 1950s there was a cultural revolutionary and some people have the background of the other party will be taken to the people and will be beated something like this.
You know the most people survived from the revolutionary could be from a very sad ending so he went crazy. When I read it the story is very thrilling. even though you know the background the story itself is attractive. For the novels I normally read the paper because I can finish very quickly but for some English English digest I will download from the website and save it to the iPad, the electronic reading app because when we read on the app we can use the dictionary.
For English fictions I always will see the movie first and then come back o the novel. it is easier to see an English movie but for the Chinese novel normally we read the book first and because  it is popular it was produced to the movie and we have to see that. But mostly it disappointed me. Maybe the feeling when you read the novel you have a strong feeling from my inside but when we see the film the feeling is different.

I feel the movie is lacking something compared to the book. / the movie leaves less to imagination and it usually disappoints.
