did you go out less than usual because of the cold ?

Last week end our family went to suzhou to go swimming in a swimming. My 2 kids and my husband they went swimming happily.
That place is a big place but I think in Shanghai it is very small. We went there to celebrate my son’s 7 yo birthday.

In our family we will not prepare some big presents or something but we will celebrate for it.
We spend time to play with them but we will not always / necessarily/ for sure prepare some presents.
When they know that day is his birthday the first question is how about the birthday cake, I ordered a special cake, like carrot cake especially for children and he liked it.
He didn’t know what his wish

We went there on Friday evening and live in a homestay. The style is more different than a hotel. The hotel room is always the same.
For children the B&B is more interesting and also if it was convenient for us to go to the swimming pool

When they went outside the water it was too cold so they just can swimming under the water.
Recently skiing is very popular I say to my husband how about go to ski but he said it is too expensive I don’t want to go there so he chose to go to the water park.

some parents will give them mobile phones to play games because it is easier to play with them

first we took a family photo and sang a birthday song and a video then he blew the candles and he cut it for us.

my son is like my husband and my daughter is like me.
Sometimes they will fight but most of the time it is ok / usually it is ok.

We went to suzhou because it is bigger than what is available in SH. / We went there because places in Shanghai are too small, they cannot compare to the one in Suzhou.
