Vocabulary

Corporate – Run by a company.  Corporate events are events that a company will pay for and plan.

Replaceable – You think that the work in your job can be done by anybody, so maybe you are replaceable.

Fired – Get terminated from your job.  When the boss ends your contract suddenly and you no longer have a job.

Repetitive – Boring because you are doing the same thing over and over again.

Compromise – Give in to what another person wants, or change your mind to do what the other person thinks.

Decades – Multiples of 10 years

Grammar

“Choose the path that is less traveled,” “wander off the beaten path” – A saying that means you should go somewhere that other people don’t.  Go to less developed countries to find opportunities (instead of going to developed countries).
