Writing exercise

Original:

Three years ago, when I first participated in the marathon, I was not confident. Because the half marathon is 21 kilometers long, I am worried that I can’t finish it. But I am very happy that my best friend along the way accompanied me to the end. She gave me a lot of encouragement and support, so this is one of the keys to my constant running. My friend and I signed up for the cross-country race in November this year. It is 11 kilometers in length. Because it was very busy in the first half of the year, this is my only match this year. So now I keep running twice a week. And every month I will take a blood center volunteer activity, lead new volunteers to experience, and listen to their feelings of sharing experiences. Besides I usually go to the exhibition with my friends or I will go to the library to study. Although very busy now but I am very happy

Three years ago, when I first participated in a marathon, I was not confident because a half marathon is 21 kilometers long, so I was worried that I couldn’t finish it. However, I am very happy that my best friend  accompanied me along the way to the end. She gave me a lot of encouragement and support, so this / which is one of the keys to my ability to continue running. My friend and I signed up for the cross-country race in November this year, which is 11 kilometers in length. But because I was very busy in the first half of the year, this is my only race this year, so now I am running twice a week to practice / to get ready for it.

Besides that, every month I take a volunteer activity at the leukemia / child cancer hospital, leading new volunteers, and listening to their feelings and experiences. I also usually go to exhibitions with my friends or I to the library to study. Although it is / I am very busy now, I am very happy
