Vocabulary

Depression (n): 1- the state of feeling very unhappy and without hope for the future. 2- a mental illness in which a person is very unhappy and anxious (= worried and nervous) for long periods and cannot have a normal life during these periods. (adj: Depressed)
E.g.: I was overwhelmed by feelings of depression.
E.g.: If you suffer from depression, it’s best to get professional help.

Company (n): 1- the fact of being with a person or people, or the person or people you are with.
E.g.: I just enjoy his company.
E.g.: It was a long trip and I was grateful for his company.
E.g.: I enjoy my own company (= I like being alone).
E.g.: I travelled in the company of (= with) two teachers as far as Istanbul.
E.g.: I’d rather you didn’t mention it when we’re in company (= with other people).
E.g.: I didn’t realize you had company (= were with someone/people).
E.g.: Margot came to stay for a week as company for my mother while I was away.
E.g.: With only her thoughts for company (= being alone), she walked slowly along the beach.

Accompany (v): 1- to go with someone or to be provided or exist at the same time as something.
E.g.: The course books are accompanied by four CDs.
E.g.: Depression is almost always accompanied by insomnia.

Breastfeeding (n): 1- When a mother breastfeeds her baby, she feeds it with milk directly from her breasts rather than with artificial or cow’s milk from a bottle.
E.g.: Breastfeeding is very important for the development of the baby.

Every place has its own culture, The most things are food and language. But if you ask me what do I think makse shanghai culture different from other cultures? I’ll say you have more opportunity to meet many kinds of people in Shanghai. If you do something that you think is stupid, don’t worry about it, you will find others company you. Every place has its own culture and the most important things are food and language. But if you ask me what I think makes Shanghai’s culture different from other cultures, I’ll say that this city gives you more opportunities to meet many different  kinds of people. That means that if you do something that you think is stupid, you don’t have to worry about it, because you will always find others to accompany you. So Shanghai is more open than other cities in China and because of that it is easier for you to do what you love doing .
