Original:

To be a diplomat is my dream. On one hand, I think diplomacy is important for a country. Nowadays, no country can develop without any reliance on other countries, meanwhile, we have to realize that it’s impossible for two or more countries have the same interests in all aspects. So how to balance the interests in different countries and try to maximum the interests in all parties become more important and difficult. That’s where diplomats can play important roles.

On the other hand, a diplomat must be multi skilled. As a diplomat, you have to master different skills or possess certain capacity, such as foreign language, communication skills and profound knowledge, which can help you handle different situations at work. I like such kind of challenging work, which will promote you to learn new things and see more about this world.

I think my dream to be a diplomat is also related to my growth environment. My Dad works in government so he always brought some political magazines and newspaper home, which became my extracurricular reading materials. These magazines cultivated my interest in politics to some extent.

Being a diplomat is my dream. On one hand, I think diplomacy is important for a country, as nowadays no country can develop without any reliance on others. At the same time, we have to realize that it’s impossible for two or more countries to have the same interests in all aspects, so balancing and maximizing the interests of different actors becomes more important and difficult. That’s where diplomats can play important roles.

On the other hand, a diplomat must be multi-skilled. As a diplomat, you have to master different skills or possess certain capacities, such as foreign languages, communication skills and profound knowledge of a series of different subjects, which can help you handle different situations at work. I like such kind of challenging work, which promotes you to learn new things and see more about the world.

I think my dream to be a diplomat is also related to the environment I grew up in. My Dad works in government so he’s always brought some political magazines and newspapers home, which became my extracurricular reading materials and, to some extent, cultivated my interest in politics.
