Vocabulary

Avoid (v): 1- to prevent something from happening or to not allow yourself to do something. 2- 避免
E.g.: To avoid toothaches and cavities (牙洞), you should brush your teeth at least three times a day.
E.g.: I try to avoid going shopping on Saturdays, because it’s always super crowded everywhere.

Coworker (n): 1- a colleague; a person who works with you.
E.g.: Nemo and Raph are coworkers.

Similar (adj): 1- looking or being almost, but not exactly, the same:
E.g.: My father and I have very similar eyes.
E.g.: I bought some new shoes which are very similar to a pair I had before.

Delicious (adj): 1- 好吃

Annoying (adj): 1- 恼人的

Speaking exercise

Original:

Today I didn’t go to the company this morning. I went to hospital. Because my teeth are not comfortable. I went to a hospital at 8 o’clock in the morning queue up. There was a lot of people. About an hour later I saw the dentist. The dentist checked my teeth, tell my there are not many problems, so have simple treatment and took me some precautions and then I went to work. After work I took the subway to Smart English to learn English.

Grammar

Adjectives (形容词) = a word used to describe (描述) a noun or a pronoun.
E.g.: smart, beautiful, tall, small, short, ugly, handsome, annoying, crowded, uncomfortable, hot, cold, delicious, happy, sad, angry, lovely, interesting, great, terrible, boring, exciting, soft, hard, easy, difficult, etc.
