Vocabulary

Vacuum Cleaner (n): 1-  a device that uses an air pump  to suck up dust and dirt, usually from floors and other surfaces.
E.g.: She used the vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the carpet.
E.g.: I just vacuumed the living room.

Tourism (n): 1- the business of providing services such as transport, places to stay, or entertainment for people who are on holiday.
E.g.: Tourism is Venice’s main industry.
E.g.: These beautiful old towns have remained relatively untouched by tourism.

Canal (n): 1- a long, thin stretch of water that is artificially made either for boats to travel along or for taking water from one area to another:
E.g.: Suzhou is famous for its canals and for its imperial (帝国) gardens.
E.g.:We walked along the canal for a couple of miles.

So the during the Spring Festival I didn’t go back to my hometown. I stayed in Shanghai and then I go to Zhejiang Wuzhen, which I was looking for go to there for many years ago. And this trip didn’t disappoint my hope. I think it’s a beautiful place. It’s a old and small town, with a river, and I think their government protect the things very complete, and the people there are nice, and I think the tourism is very good control. So I think this trip I have a good memory of this trip.

During the Spring Festival I didn’t go back to my hometown. I stayed in Shanghai for most of the holiday, and then I went to Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province. I had wanted to go there for many years, and this trip didn’t disappoint / this trip lived up to my expectations. I think it is a beautiful place. It’s an old and small town, with many canals, and I think their government does a good job at preserving it. Additionally, the people there are nice, and tourism is very well-organized, so I think this trip gave me some good memories.
