Vocabulary

President (n): 1- the person who has the highest political position in a country that is a republic and who, in some of these countries, is the leader of the government. 2- 主席
E.g.: Xi Jinping is the president of China.

Former (adj): 1- of or in an earlier time; before the present time or in the past.
E.g.: He has another son with his former wife.
E.g.: My a former job was very boring.
E.g.: Barack Obama is the former president of the United States.

Current (adj): 1- of the present time:
E.g.: I didn’t like my former boss, but my current one is great.
E.g.: Donald Trump is the current president of the United States.

Behavior (n): 1- the way someone acts.
E.g.: I don’t like his behavior. I think he is very rude.
E.g.: My son’s teacher said his behavior in school was excellent.

Speaking exercise

Original:

Today when I went to the bank, my boss from small company, not my company, we worked together, I heard he  speak ill of coworker, but they met about for four years. I think they were friend, but now they are very hurt each other. I don’t understand why they are very bad, and my coworker final work in this month. She will leave. I feel sad, because I think my boss tell rude. I’m afraid if we have unhappy, he will same to me.

Today when I went to the bank, one of the bosses from our company spoke ill of my coworker in a WeChat group. They met about four years ago and I think they were friends, but now they really hate each other. I don’t understand why he was doing that. My coworker is leaving soon and this is her final month working at the company. I feel sad, because I think my boss was very rude and I’m afraid that, if we have some misunderstanding, he will do the same to me.

Grammar

Before I think my coworker is friendly. – I used to think my coworkers were friendly. / I thought my coworkers were friendly.

I don’t understand his act. – I don’t understand his actions / the way he acts.

They met for a long time, they have some unhappy things never told. – They met a long time ago and have some things they are unhappy about, but never tell each other. 

Their parents met. – Their parents know each other.
