Vocabulary
Tedious (adj): 1- boring.
E.g.: This professor is really smart, but his class is absolutely tedious!
E.g.: The problem is I find most forms of exercise so tedious.
Carpet (n): 1- (a shaped piece of) thick material used for covering floors.
E.g.: We’ve just had a new carpet fitted/laid in our bedroom.
E.g.: We’ve got fitted (= cut to fit exactly) carpets in the bedrooms.
Rug (n): 1- a piece of thick heavy cloth smaller than a carpet, used for covering the floor or for decoration.
