Vocabulary

Spreadsheet (n): 1-  a computer program, used especially in business, that allows you to do financial calculations and plans.
E.g.: I had to turn the report into a detailed Excel spreadsheet.

Trend (n): 1- a general development or change in a situation or in the way that people are behaving.
E.g.: Surveys show a trend away from home-ownership and toward rented accommodation.
E.g.: There’s been a downward/upward trend in sales in the last few years.

Original:

I have read Tony’s short article about a kind of crazy food he have had. He talked about scorpion, but today I’m gonna talk about a crazy food I have had before. The food I want to talk about is snake. Two years ago I went to Guangdong and went to visit one of my friend. His hometown is in a mountain village and people like to eat snakes and he thought I just haven’t tried a snake, so he ask me to try to eat snake. I was terrified when I saw the snake was still alive and he just kill the snake and peel it and it’s really disgusting to see the thing of killing a snake. About half an hour later the snake was cooked and it looks like it fried the snake with pepper and some other spices. I tried the snake and I can’t believe it tasted good. I like it because the meat of snake it tasted  like chicken and not bad. That’s the experience that I tried a crazy food and I still remember what happened during when I first had a bite of snake.

In the article, he talked about eating scorpions, but today I’m gonna talk about a crazy food that I have had before.  Two years ago I went to Guangdong to visit one of my friends. His hometown is a mountain village and people  like to eat snakes there. As he knew that I hadn’t tried snake meat before, he asked me to try it. I was terrified when I saw the snake was still alive. He just killed and cleaned it, and it was a really disgusting thing to see! They fried it with pepper and some other spices and about half an hour later it was ready. I tried the snake and I couldn’t believe how good it tasted! I liked it because the meat tasted  like chicken and it was not bad at all. That was my experience trying a crazy food and I still remember having the first bite off that snake.
