Vocabulary

Overwork (v): 1- to (cause someone to) work too much. (adj: Overworked)
E.g.: You look exhausted – I hope they’re not overworking you.
E.g.: I’m overworked and underpaid.

Overtime (n/adv): 1- (time spent working) after the usual time needed or expected in a job.
E.g.: They’re doing/working overtime to get the job done on time.

Tropical storm Khanun is to travel across Vietnam to Cambodia this week, bringing heavy rain and the threat of floods from tomorrow until Thursday.

Water Resources and Meteorology Minister Lim Kean Hor issued an announcement warning the public and officials to brace for the bad weather.

“Provinces in central lowland and highland areas including Phnom Penh, Kandal, Kampong Speu, Takeo, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmom and Kratie provinces will experience average to heavy rain until Thursday,” he said.

“Coastal areas will also experience rain until Wednesday. The public and local authorities must be careful, especially fishermen and passengers at sea.”

Three people meanwhile drowned in flooding in Banteay Meanchey province on Thursday.
