Vocabulary

Aim (n): 1- a result that your plans or actions are intended to achieve.
E.g.: My main aim in life is to be a good husband and father.

Perceive (v): 1- to come to an opinion about something, or have a belief about something.
E.g.: Women’s magazines are often perceived to be superficial.

Then (adv): 1- (at) that time (in the past or in the future). 2- next or after that:
E.g.: I was working in the city then.
E.g.: Let me finish this job, then we’ll go.

Them (pron): 1- used, usually as the object of a verb or preposition, to refer to people, things, animals, situations, or ideas that have already been mentioned. 2- used to refer to one person whose sex is not known instead of saying “him” or “her”.
E.g.: I’ve lost my keys. I can’t find them anywhere.
E.g.: When each passenger arrives, we ask them to fill in a form.

Than (prep): 1- used to join two parts of a comparison.
E.g.: My son is a lot taller than my daughter.
