Vocabulary
Ambiguous (adj): 1- having or expressing more than one possible meaning, sometimes intentionally.
E.g.: His reply to my question was ambiguous.
Somewhat (adv): 1- to some degree.
E.g.: The resort has changed somewhat over the last few years.
E.g.: She’s somewhat more confident than she used to be.
E.g.: We were somewhat tired after our long walk.
Will (n): 1- the mental power used to control and direct your thoughts and actions, or a determination to do something, despite any difficulties or opposition. 2- what someone wants to happen
E.g.: After six months in the hospital she began to lose the will to live (= the desire and determination to stay alive).
E.g.: It was God’s will.
E.g.: Against their will (= although they did not want to), they were forced to hand over the money.
Bold (adj): 1- not frightened of danger; brave. 2- not shy, especially in a way that shows no respect. 3- strong in color or shape, and very noticeable to the eye; not subtle. 4- printed in thick dark letters.
E.g.: She was a bold and fearless climber.
E.g.: He made some very bold statements that shocked everyone.
E.g.: They painted the kitchen in bold colors.
E.g.: This sentence is written in bold.
