Vocabulary

Foreign (adj): 1- from a different country.
E.g.: He had never visited a foreign country before.

Trip (n): 1-  journey in which you go somewhere, usually for a short time, and come back again. 2- 旅程
E.g.: The trip from York to Newcastle takes about an hour by train.
E.g.: We’re going on a trip to Sichuan this summer.

Equator (n): 1- 赤道

Umami (n): 1- 鲜味(日语:うま味, 英语:umami)和甜、酸、苦、咸一样,为五种基本味觉之一。“旨味”是中文原有的类似概念,泛指某种食物十分美味。

China is very famous for its food in the world. There are many kinds of food in China. They’re Sichuan food, Shanghai food, Hunan food and so on. Generally speaking, Sichuan food is very hot, Shanghai food is rather sweet,and Hunan dishes are very spicy.Mapo Beancurd, steamed fish sweet and sour pork ribs, spring roll and many Chinese dishes are very delicious. Among them, I like to eat sweet and sou .Because it is good in color, flavor and taste. So I like it very much. In the north of China, people eat a lot of noodles and dumplings. In the south of China, people eat a lot of rice and seafood.
