Write a paragraph using some of the words you’ve learned in the past three lessons.

Vocabulary

LGBTQ (v): 1- abbreviation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (or questioning).
E.g.: Some young people who identify as LGBTQ can experience a lack of support, awareness, and acceptance.

Bisexual (n): 1- sexually attracted to both men and women.
E.g.: He came out as bisexual.

Queer (n/adj): 1- gay.
E.g.: He’s a very respected person in the queer community.

Transgender (n): 1- used to describe someone who feels that they are not the same gender (= sex) as the physical body they were born with, or who does not fit easily into being either a male or a female.
E.g.: Society has become more understanding of people who are transgender.

Legal (adj): 1-  allowed by the law:
E.g.: Gay marriage is legal in more than 20 countries.

Offensive (adj): 1- causing someone to feel hurt, angry, or upset : rude or insulting.
E.g.: He made some offensive remarks.

Talk show (n): 1- a radio or television program on which famous guests are asked questions about themselves, or members of the public discuss a particular subject.
E.g.: Jin Xing is a famous transgender talk show host from China.

Pride (n): 1- a feeling of pleasure and satisfaction that you get because you or people connected with you have done or got something good.
E.g.: She felt a great sense of pride as she watched him accept the award.

Knee (n): 1- 膝盖

Kangaroo (n): 1- 袋鼠
