Sterile (adj): 1- unable to have children
E.g.: One of the side effects of the drug could be to make men sterile.

Pattern (n): 1-a particular way in which something is done or organized, or in which something happens. 2- a regular arrangement of lines, shapes, or colors.
E.g.: This pattern of behavior is quite disturbing.
E.g.: He was wearing a shirt with a cool geometric pattern.
