Vocabulary

Sea (n): 1- the salty water that covers a large part of the surface of the earth, or a large area of salty water, smaller than an ocean, that is partly or completely surrounded by land.
E.g.: Last weekend we went swimming in the sea.

Several (det/pron): 1- some; an amount that is not exact but is fewer than many.
E.g.: I’ve seen “Gone with the Wind” several times.
E.g.: Several people have complained about the plans.
E.g.: Several of my friends are learning English.

Informant (n): 1- someone who gives information to another person or organization.
E.g.: The police managed to find the criminal based on what a secret informant had told them.
E.g.: Our survey is based on information from over 200 informants.
