Vocabulary

Cultural (adj): 1- relating to music, art, theatre, literature, etc.. 2- relating to the habits, traditions, and beliefs of a society.
E.g.: Yara did lots of cultural activities last weekend.
E.g.: The government is trying to keep Chinese cultural traditions alive.

Preserve (v): 1- to protect or keep something as it is, especially in order to prevent it from being damaged or destroyed. 2- 保留
E.g.: We need to do more to preserve the environment.
E.g.: This city preserves its old buildings very well.

Costume (n): 1- a set of clothes worn in order to look like someone or something else, especially for a party or as part of an entertainment.
E.g.: Our host was wearing a clown (小丑) costume.
E.g.: The children were dressed in Halloween costumes.

Express (v): 1- to show a feeling, opinion, or fact:
E.g.: Her eyes expressed deep sadness.
E.g.: I would like to express my thanks for your kindness.

Express yourself (v): 1- to communicate what you think or feel, by speaking or writing, or in some other way.
E.g.: I’m afraid I’m not expressing myself very clearly.
E.g.: Children often express themselves in painting.
