Vocabulary

So far (adv): 1- until now.
E.g.: So far we’ve made $32,000.
E.g.: I’ve sent 100 cards so far. I will send the others tomorrow.

Yet (adv): 1- still; until the present time:
E.g.: I haven’t spoken to her yet.
E.g.: He hasn’t finished yet.
E.g.: “Are you ready?” “Not yet – wait a minute.”

The rest (n): 1- the other things, people, or parts that remain or that have not been mentioned:
E.g.: I’ve got two bright students, but the rest are average.
E.g.: I’ll keep a third of the money and the rest is for you.
E.g.: Do you have anything planned for the rest of the day?
E.g.: I will rest for the rest of the day.
