Vocabulary

Chew (v): 1- to crush food into smaller, softer pieces with the teeth so that it can be swallowed.
E.g.: This meat is difficult to chew.
E.g.: You don’t chew your food enough – that’s why you get indigestion.

Indigestion (n): 1- pain that you get in your stomach when you have eaten food that is difficult to digest (消化)
E.g.: Do you suffer from indigestion after you have eaten?
E.g.: You’ll give yourself indigestion if you swallow your dinner so quickly.

Tongue (n): 1- the large, soft piece of flesh in the mouth that you can move, and is used for tasting, speaking, etc..
E.g.: I burned my tongue on some soup last night.

Moderation (n): 1- the quality of doing something within reasonable limits.
E.g.: You can eat whatever you want as long as it’s in moderation.
E.g.: All parties will have to show great moderation during these very difficult negotiations.
