Vocabulary

Mainstream (adj): 1- considered normal, and having or using ideas, beliefs, etc. that are accepted by most people.
E.g.: This is the director’s first mainstream Hollywood film.
E.g.: World Music is now well established and popular with mass audiences and mainstream companies.
E.g.: He is not known within mainstream literary circles.
E.g.: They cater to mainstream musical tastes.
E.g.: She is excluded from mainstream life.
E.g.: Mainstream journals did not cover the story.

Cater to (v): 1- to satisfy a need or to provide what is wanted or needed by a particular person or group.
E.g.: Internet shopping caters to every possible need.
E.g.: Their bar caters to the growing expat community.

Handicraft (n): 1- a skilled activity in which something is made in a traditional way with the hands rather than being produced by machines in a factory, or an object made by such an activity.
E.g.: He works selling handicraft he makes with the help of his family.

The sights (n): 1- places of interest, especially to visitors:
E.g.: We spent a week in Rome looking at all the sights.
