Vocabulary

Wrinkle (n): 1- a small line in the skin caused by old age.
E.g.: She has some fine wrinkles around the eyes
E.g.: He’s using a new anti-wrinkle cream and it’s really working.

Expression (n): 1- the look on someone’s face, showing what they feel or think.
E.g.: I could tell from her expression that something serious had happened.
E.g.: Mark always has such a sad expression on his face.

Transparent (adj): 1- If a substance or object is transparent, you can see through it very clearly. 2- clear and easy to understand or recognize. 3- open and honest, without secrets.
E.g.: He was drinking water from a transparent bottle.
E.g.: I think we should try to make the instructions more transparent.
E.g.: We are committed to being totally transparent about our charges.

Self-absorbed (adj): 1- only interested in yourself and your own activities.
E.g.: He’s a very self-absorbed man.

Extrovert (n): 1- a person who enjoys being with other people.
E.g.: Most sales people are extroverts.

Introvert (n): 1- someone who prefers to be alone and is often seen as quiet or shy.
E.g.: As an introvert, it wasn’t easy for him to make friends.

Show off (v): 1- to behave in a way that is intended to attract attention or admiration, and that other people often find annoying.
E.g.: She only bought that sports car to show off and prove she could afford one.
E.g.: He’s always showing off to his classmates.

Private (adj): 1- only for one person or group and not for everyone. 2- Private activities involve personal matters or relationships and are not related to your work. 3- Private thoughts and opinions are secret and not discussed with other people. 4- A private place is quiet and has no other people to see or hear you. 5- A private person does not like to talk about their personal feelings and thoughts.
E.g.: She has a small office that is used for private discussions.
E.g.: Apparently in interviews he refuses to talk about his private life.
E.g.: Although I support the project in public, my private opinion is that it will fail.
E.g.: ​Is there somewhere private where we can talk?
E.g.: ​She’s a very private person.
