Vocabulary

Dictionary (n): 1- a book that contains a list of words in alphabetical order and that explains their meanings, or gives a word for them in another language; a similar product for use on a computer.
E.g.: To check how a word is spelled, look it up in a dictionary.

Gesture (n): 1- a movement of the hands, arms, or head, etc. to express an idea or feeling:
E.g.: The prisoner raised his fist (拳头) in a gesture of defiance as he was led out of the courtroom.
E.g.: She made a rude gesture at the other driver.

Body language (n): 1- the movements or positions of your body that show other people how you are feeling, without using words:
E.g.: I could tell from her body language that she was very embarrassed.

Subtle (adj): 1- not loud, bright, noticeable, or obvious in any way. 2- small but important. 3- achieved in a quiet way that does not attract attention to itself and is therefore good or clever.
E.g.: The room was painted a subtle shade of pink.
E.g.: There is a subtle difference between these two plans.
E.g.: He made some subtle suggestions and got what he wanted.

Punctual (adj): 1- arriving, doing something, or happening at the expected, correct time; not late.
E.g.: Italians are known not to be very punctual.

Gazelle (n): 1- 羚羊

Goat (n): 1- 山羊

Sheep (n): 1- 绵羊

Lamb (n): 1- 羊肉

Tibet (n): 1- 西藏
