Vocabulary

Sister-in-law (n): 1- the wife of your brother or sister, or the sister of your husband or wife.
E.g.: When Michelle and Jeff get married, Jeff’s sister will be Michelle’s sister-in-law.

Brother-in-law (n): 1- the husband of your sister or brother, or the brother of your husband or wife
E.g.: When Michelle and Jeff get married, Richard will be Jeff’s brother-in-law.

Yawn (v): 1-  to open the mouth wide when tired or bored.
E.g.: I can’t stop yawning – I must be tired.

Clumsy (adj): 1- A clumsy person often has accidents, breaks things, trips, falls, etc
E.g.: That’s the third glass you’ve broken this week – you’re so clumsy!

Flat (adj): 1-  level and smooth, with no curved, high, or hollow parts. 2- 平面
E.g.: The table is flat, but the ball is not.

Shatter (v): 1-  to break suddenly into very small pieces.
E.g.: The glass shattered into a thousand tiny pieces.

Unfortunately  (adv): 1- used to say that something is sad, disappointing, or has a bad effect:
E.g.: Unfortunately we couldn’t go to the party.

Floss (n/v): 
E.g.: It’s very important to floss everyday.
E.g.: I need to go to the convenience store (便利店) to buy some dental floss.

Lark (n): 1- 
E.g.: Little Miss Fun is happy as a lark!
