Vocabulary

Rehearse (v): 1- to practice a play, a piece of music, etc. in order to prepare it for public performance. (n: Rehearsal)
E.g. : The musicians rehearsed for the concert.

Swear (v)to use words that are rude or offensive as a way of emphasizing what you mean or as a way of insulting someone or something. 2-to promise or say firmly that you are telling the truth or that you will do something or behave in a particular way.
E.g.: It was a real shock, the first time I heard my mother swear.
E.g.: I don’t know anything about what happened, I swear!

Giggle (v): 1-  to laugh repeatedly in a quiet but uncontrolled way, often at something silly or rude or when you are nervous:
E.g.: Stop that giggling in the back row!

Wonder (v): 1- to ask yourself questions or express a wish to know about something:
E.g.: Shouldn’t you phone home? Your parents will be wondering where you are.
E.g.: He’s starting to wonder whether he did the right thing in accepting this job.

Wander (v): 1- to walk around slowly in a relaxed way or without any clear purpose or direction.
E.g.: We spent the morning wandering around the old part of the city.

Wanderlust (n): 1- the wish to travel far away and to many different places:
E.g.: In July wanderlust takes over the whole nation.

Threat (n): 1-  a suggestion that something unpleasant or violent will happen, especially if a particular action or order is not followed.
E.g.: Her parents carried out their threat to take away her mobile phone if her grades didn’t improve.
E.g.: The threat of jail failed to stop him from committing the crime.
E.g.: Drunken drivers pose a serious threat (= cause a lot of harm) to other road users.
E.g.: He says he’ll tell the authorities but it’s just an empty threat (= it will not happen).

Hide (v): 1-  to put something or someone in a place where that thing or person cannot be seen or found, or to put yourself somewhere where you cannot be seen or found:
E.g.: She used to hide her diary under her pillow.
E.g.: A kilo of heroin was found hidden inside the lining of the suitcase.
E.g.: I like wearing sunglasses – I feel I can hide behind them.

Grammar

I’ve been sweating all the day. – I’ve been sweating the whole day / I’ve been sweating all day.

I need to go back Spain. – I need to go back to Spain
