Vocabulary

To snooze (verb) – to pause an alarm in order to sleep more

Ex. This morning I was tired and snoozed my alarm three times.

To fade in (verb) – to gradually increase in volume

Ex. Instead of ringing loudly, my alarm fades in.

To fade out (verb) – to gradually decrease in volume

Ex. Many songs fade out when they reach their end.

Headphones (noun) – a device used to listen to music, 耳机

Headphone jack (noun) – the place on a phone to connect headphones

Ex. I prefer the iPhone 6 because it has a separate headphone jack.

To charge (verb) – to add electricity to a battery

Ex. I need to charge my phone at least once a day because it dies quickly.

Jumpy (adjective) – to be scared easily

Ex. Cats are jumpy and can get scared easily if you move too fast.
