Vocabulary

Divide – to break something into parts 划分
e.g. We can divide this pizza.

Verb – 动词
Tense – past, present, future 时态

Form – the same thing but in different shapes, different types 形式
e.g. Eat, eating, ate, eaten, eats are all forms of the same verb “eat.”

电视剧 – TV program / drama

See how [something] works – to let something happen and see if it is good or not, if you like it or not
e.g. I’m not sure if this program is what we need, but let’s see how it works (let’s try it).

Everyday – something you use all the time, like a tool
Ordinary – something that is not special at all, not strange

Small Talk – the things that you have to say every day when you meet people, when you greet people, when you say goodbye, etc.; talking about weather, sports, news, movies
e.g. Hey, how’s it going? Fine, how about you? . . .

Expression – a few words that you use together 表达
e.g. How’s it going? How ya doin’?
e.g. Jyeet yet? = Did you eat yet?

Listen vs. Hear – how long did you do it for?

Grammar

Use the present for general things:
e.g. I eat hot dogs
— This could mean: I like to eat hot dogs
— It could also mean: I often eat hot dogs

Because the drama is easy to be attracted by the content, then we will not notice what it said ,I think it’s right ,so i want to try . At that time, my friend recommended the drama of bojack horseman for me , He said that the dialogue inside is very everyday. So i find it to practice listening.I haven’t seen this show since i heard it, I just use makeup everyday、go to work ,eat to listen what it is saying.

On the beginning ,I don’t know what they are talking about , because they speak fast for me, I just understand some words，After listening far a while, i can understand some lang sentences they said now, this method is useful for me

Because the drama it is easy to be attracted by the drama’s content, then we will not notice what it said says. I think it’s right, so I want to try / see how it works. At that time, my friend recommended the drama of Bojack Horseman for me. He said that the dialogue inside in the show is very everyday natural / ordinary / standard. So I found / use it to practice listening. I haven’t seen watched this show since I heard started listening to it, I just listen to it everyday while I put on my use makeup everyday, go to work, and eat to listen what it is saying the dialogue.

On June 8, I have an appointment with my friend go to Hong Kong to get the shot. In order to catch the plane, I got up at 5:30, I wash up and meet my friend at the airport, Everything went well and we arrived in Hong Kong safely，when pass, I was asked if I was pregnant，I was surprised and found that every girl asked the same question，but I don’t know why. We have an appointment to get the shot at 3:30, we arrived a little early So we decided to eat first. In Hong Kong, when you eat, it’s hard to sit down slowly taste, maybe it’s too fast, sit too long time, the boss will come to rush.So every time I come to Hong Kong, I think time is precious.We would line up for our shots after dinner, there are many people, We waited for about an hour. After that we’re going to harbour city to give something to a friend，But that place is too round, we looked for a long time, We had planned to meet for an afternoon tea, but the time was too short, so we had to leave quickly to catch the plane. We looked for the subway station for a long time, almost late. The trip was really rushed.
