Grammar

Kids with too much pressures – Kids who are pressured too much

After “add to this,” it sounds better to add “that,” because it lets me know that a verb is coming instead of a noun.
e.g. Add to this two eggs, and stir.
e.g. Add to this that he didn’t even call . . .

Especially” is usually used to interrupt an idea, or to add something extra; not usually as a connecting word:
e.g. Export-oriented countries, especially South Korea, have been negatively affected by the Sino-US trade war.
e.g. It is true that you call before being late, especially when you promised to be early.

In particular – used to connect two sentences where the second gives the best example of something:
e.g. Many economies have suffered. In particular, the Greek economy had serious, lasting difficulties.

Between vs. Among
— “Between” is for two things
e.g. I want to improve relations between the US and China.
— “Among” is within a group
e.g. I would like to see improvements in intergovernmental relations among the ASEAN countries.

Writing exercise

H.W: Write about protectionism and its effect upon South Korea.

Since China and the US, two economic gaints, started the trade disputes, protectionism has been spreading all over the World. Add to this there is a general slowdown in global economy, export-oriented countires like Korea are suffering from those unfavorable factors. Especially Korean manufacture and shipping industry are deteriorating noticeably so that some economists forecasted that it even could result in economic crisis of Korea. (hopefully not)

However there are new moves to turn this bad situation around. World Trade Organization(WTO) is trying to improve its function to adjust the global economy. Also Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC) memebers are making their bonds stronger to share benefits from international trades among their countries.
