Vocabulary

Intermediate – something in the middle, usually expertise (high/advanced 高; basic/low 初)
e.g. I recently got the intermediate level economist certificate.

Economist – 经济师

Opportunity – a good possibility that you choose
Chance – the possibility that something (good or bad) will happen
e.g. This soil restoration company will have lots of opportunities in China.
e.g. There is a chance that they will not do well anyway.

Diplomacy – the relations between countries 外交

Spanish – 西班牙语
Portuguese – 葡萄牙语

发布 – Announce / Publish – tell the public with words/writing

Dialect – not a different language, but a different way of speaking 话，方言

Ownership – the things that are yours (formal)
e.g. The ownership of this company is 40% German and 60% Chinese.

Leadership – the people who tell the others what to do
Employees – the people who work for/at a company
Business – the things we do for money

Toxic Cleanup – a lot of dangerous pollution was just dumped somewhere and we need to make it safe for people to live in that area again
Soil Restoration – there is pollution from a long time ago, or the immediate danger is over, but the ground still has bad stuff in it

专业 – Professional / Specialized – “Professional” is related to a specific job; “specialized” means very specific knowledge (usually, professional knowledge is specialized knowledge)
e.g. Being a doctor requires a professional degree.
e.g. Running a soil restoration company requires specialized knowledge.

Skill – something you learn
e.g. playing the piano, speaking Chinese
Ability – whether you can easily learn things
e.g. Musicality, language ability (can you learn languages quickly and effectively)
Capability – ability; or, if you have resources and can manage them
e.g. At Bauer, we have the capability to put 100 people on a job any day of the week (we have that many people with the right skills to send out)
e.g. He has the capability to work all day and into the night, and still show up on time the next morning. He is a hard worker.

Dealing with

HR management exams. I should take the certificate and it help me to promote my position. If I want to promote I should have more professional experience and graduation and expertise certificate. I get the middle economist certificate.
