Vocabulary

Submit – to give something necessary to a person to decide, or review
e.g. We submitted a design for a grade.

Set in / Take place in – where something happens in a story
e.g. Aida takes place in Egypt.
e.g. Cats isn’t set in the real world (it is imaginary).

Statue – a piece of stone, wood, etc. shaped to look like something (a person, an animal, a boat)　雕像
e.g. “David” is a famous statue by Michelangelo.

Sphinx – the statute in Egypt with a human’s face and a lion’s body
e.g. That sphinx doesn’t have a nose.

Missing – when you had something, but now you don’t, and you want to know where it is
e.g. My cat is missing! Have you seen it?

Fall in love – to meet someone you really like and want to date

We have a fashion show, and everyone need up to 10 costume design drawing to teacher. We need have done them in two weeks, and today is the last day. I just upped them to teacher. We have a topic, about Aida. There is a famous place. The face is person, the body is (lion). We draw the celebratists in the Aida play. The play is (Aiji), and they fight with another country (Aiselebiya). The story is about this country’s (jiangjun). He and another country’s (gongzhu) they are love.

The play is set in Egypt (Aiji), and they fight with another country (Ethiopia). The story is about this country’s　general (jiangjun). He and another country’s　princess (gongzhu) they are love fall in love.
