Homework

Write a story about what you would dress up like for Halloween? Would you be Naruto with your new vest?

Vocabulary

Crow – a large, black bird

Naruto – 卡卡西

e.g. Hank has a new vest that is the same one that Naruto wears.

Halloween – a holiday in the United States when kids (and sometimes adults) dress up like other people or other things
e.g. October 31st is Halloween, and Hank an dress up like Naruto.

Costume – to wear clothes that make you look like someone or something else.

You are a good/bad shot – you shoot a gun well and hit what you try to hit; you don’t shoot a gun well and you don’t hit what you try to hit

Shot – one time you shoot a gun (bang!)

Cook – to make food, or to be the person who makes food
Chef – someone who is paid to cook food

Rogue – 流氓 someone who doesn’t follow the rules, or who likes bad things

Beethoven – a famous writer of music

Roast – to cook something using fire directly
e.g. We built a fire and roasted the potatoes over it.

Then – to show what you do after something else, or because of something else

e.g. If you see him, then you should say hello.
