Vocabulary

Metal – 金属

Magnet – a piece of metal that attract other magnets or certain types of metal
Magnetic – something that attracts other things, like a personality
e.g. He has a magnetic personality and always has a lot of friends wherever he goes.

Blurt out – to say something suddenly, almost without thinking, by surprise
e.g. When the police came, he just blurted out everything he knew to try to save himself.

Colleague – someone you work with

Pretend to be / play the role – to be someone you are not to help someone imagine a situation
e.g. In the videos, our teachers pretend to be policeman for the students to practice.

In the Country – people outside of cities
e.g. Our company is especially useful for students who live out in the country.

Bi- / Tri- / Quad- Two, Three, Four

Get dirty / Get muddy – “get” is used to show some kind of change
e.g. I will go get some water.
e.g. I just got to the theater.
