Vocabulary

Tub – a place for showering, or especially for taking a bath; a large thing for holding liquid
e.g. Get into the tub for your bath! You have to go to bed soon!

Tube – a long, round pipe for transporting liquids or gases
e.g. In London, they call their subway “the Tube.”
(Technically, it’s a tunnel, not a tube.)

Hybrid – a mix of two or more things
e.g. The “liger” is a hybrid of a lion and a tiger.

Strengthen – to make stronger

Flexible – when something can bend; something that can change quickly
Rigid – something that doesn’t bend

Squat – to bend your legs like you are going to sit down; and exercise for your legs

CBOT – the Chicago Board of Trade; a stock-market for futures (a share in something which will be produced later)
