Vocabulary

Career – the job skills that you build up over a long period of time from the different jobs you have had; when you work at one company for a long time
e.g. My career has included many field, such as engineering, business, and law.
e.g. My career at SmartEnglish has lasted for ten years.

Cursed – to bring bad luck to others; to have bad luck
e.g. She must be cursed! Every time she tries to take the Metro, it breaks down.

Grammar

Try to put a phrase that described a noun in front of the noun (if possible). The one that describes the verb, and go at the beginning or at the end.
e.g. This week, I went on a three-day business trip.
e.g. I was on a three-day business trip this week.

The past tense with “-ed” usually means that something is over.
e.g. It seemed like we wouldn’t make it (at some past time, it seemed that we wouldn’t, but actually, we did arrive on time. So it no longer “seems” like we’ll be late.)
In this sense, sort of like 以为

Be is about now; Get is about change.

I have been on a business trip for three days this week. The first day, I attended a conference on plastic industry and global economy. It seemed that the economy would/will be worse and that would be tough period on plastic industry the next year. So, I want to tell a story about me, because I am an unfortunate girl on work career. I have done three job and two part-time job. Almost all the company I have worked in was worse after I entered in. The two part-time job I worked was when I was in college. One was a coffee room, and one was a card room. Both of the two room was break down after I had been worked in for about two monthses. The first company I worked in after I graduated was in poor condition because of the country policy. And the second company wasn’t very well because of the short of money. I heard that it would break down. The third job, now I am in, is fine but the economy and industry would be worse the next year. So I think I am unfortunate girl.
