Vocabulary

X-Ray – a way to look inside you without cutting you open, using radiation
MRI – a way to look inside you (also without cutting you open), using magnets
CAT – an x-ray from many angles so that the picture is 3D

Get drunk – to drink too much alcohol

The pain is worse vs. the pain is more serious – “serious” probably means that the injury is worse, or more life-threatening; “worse” usually just means that it hurts more

Put on vs. wear – 穿,穿着

Bangs – when the hair by your face is shorter than the rest, or the hair in front if it is all short

My pain in my back became much heavier. So I can’t wait to take the MRI, because I want to know what happened to my back. So the doctor can heal me. When my back is in trouble I can’t do any sports. So, when I recover I think the common sports is can make me satisfied. Because my Mom told me this sick can’t drink alcohol. I want to drink some alcohol when I recover.

Pronunciation

L -an “l” is putting your tongue at the top of your mouth and using your voice; the “l” sound is ONLY a tongue movement, not a lip or jaw movement. There should be no sound of “u”!
