First of all, in my opinion, I do not agree with that what Harvard University is treating Asian people in the right way. Because all people of different skin colors deserve to be considered and treated the same way without any discrimination. America is featuring itself with its diversity and welcoming.

First of all I do think that people in China do want study+ing [want to study] abroad because the education in America is really[truly] better than that of China. And I think the people who want to study abroad will be almost the same …I think the atmosphere of Chinese people wanting to go abroad won’t change in the future. Because when China is developing America is developing too…China and America are developing at the same time.

I think the cost is really not that expensive for parents of China because a lot of parents of China do prepare for the fees of going to America(n) university. For a lot of [many] years…But Americans…I’ve heard that American parents do save money for their kids just to let them go to like private colleges. I’ve heard that some Americans go to that community college first and then transfer their points to a private school.

Two things: Grammar of eliminating ING when it is not necessary.

Second thing: Pronunciation of the last letter of some words…like American or costs.

Why was Harvard sued?

Because they were treated badly and not in the right way. Asian people do a lot of work to go to college why should they be treated like that. They were angry because of the discrimination they never thought about.

How did they discriminate?

They decreased the acceptance for Asian people just to increase the acceptance for black people.  Can’t recall the interview portion of the conversation.
