I think  it’s very important to learn when they are young.  Shanghai is international city, so  Chinese need to learn English well in bilingual school or international school. My daughter has english class twice a week with foreigner teacher we hope that she speak English as first language, of course Chinese is very important so we hope he will study in bilingual school in the future. I feel she’s English study is improving fast. Most of time she’s a little shy in class so I have the class because of her, I want to communicate with her teacher in English.

I think that it’s very important for kids to start studying at a young age.  Shanghai is  an international city, so  Chinese people/locals need to learn English well in a bilingual school or an international school. My daughter has an English class twice a week with a foreign teacher. We hope that one day she’s going to speak English as good as her first language. Of course Chinese is very important so we hope that she will study in a bilingual school in the future. I feel that her English study is improving  fast. Most of the time she’s a little (bit) shy in class so I started taking English classes because of her, I want to be able to communicate with her teacher in English.

Grammar

OBJECT PRONOUNS

object (n): a noun or noun phrase that is affected by the action of a verb or that follows a preposition
宾语
In the sentence “I like ice cream”, “ice cream” is the object of the verb “like”.
在句子 I like ice cream 中,ice cream 是动词 like 的宾语。

subject-the person or thing that performs the action of a verb, or is joined to a description by a verb
主语
“Bob” is the subject of the sentence “Bob threw the ball.”
Bob 是句子 Bob threw the ball 的主语。

Subjects are what the sentence is about.
Objects are what is affected by the action of the subject.

I like orange juice. (I is the subject).
I read books. (Books is the object as it is receiving the action).
Object pronouns are used instead of nouns, usually because we already know what the object is. It makes the sentence easier to read and understand and avoids repetition. We normally use object pronouns after a verb or a preposition.

Be careful when using ‘it’ as an object pronoun because it is only in the correct context that it has meaning. It needs to have already been mentioned or obvious to the listener what you are referring to. Compare;

You are sitting on it! (The listener probably doesn’t know what the speaker refers to).
The letter is on the sofa. You are sitting on it! (It is obvious in the second sentence that the reference is to the letter)
