These days I went to a teacher’s home with my classmates, she is teaching students to prepare the notes to go abroad for  arts majors and she was graduate from London arts and her major is Set design. But in London is different from China, the Set design should study many different majors, like costume design, light design, and else. So her major is same to our majors. She give me some advice, she think if I want to go abroad for graduate school she think US is better than UK, because US graduate school is about two years, at any Uk’s school always just have one year. We can’t learn a lot in just one year. But many parents think, these days the relationship of China and US is not good, so is bad for Chinese students be in the US. I think the US have better environment because there is a Broadway there are many good places I can learn a lot.

Couple of days ago I went to a teacher’s home with my classmates. She is helping students to prepare their portfolios  in order to  go abroad to  continue their majors. she graduated from London arts university and her major is Set design. But in London is quite different than in  China. A  Set design student have to take many different courses , like costume design, light design, etc. So her courses were the same like courses that we have/Her major is similar to my major. She gave me an advice, she thinks if I want to go abroad to continue my studies it would be better to go to the US than to the  UK, because US course lasts for/takes two years, and most of Uk schools just have one year course. We can’t learn a lot in just one year. Also, many parents think, these days the relationship between  China and the US is not good, so it’s bad for Chinese students to be/stay in the US. But I think  that the US has a better environment one of the reasons -there is  Broadway there are many good theaters and I can learn a lot over there
