Recently I’m often going to a hospital with my husband’s mom.

general practice/general practitioner (n): a doctor who provides general medical treatment for people who live in a particular area:
The doctor started as a general practitioner 20 years ago.
You should go to see your general practitioner.

specialist (n):a doctor who has special training in and knowledge of a particular area of medicine

E.g.: She’s a specialist in childhood illnesses.
她是儿科专家。
E.g.: I’ve asked to be referred to a specialist about my back pain.

E.g.: a leading cancer/eye specialist

analysis( n):the act of analysing something

side effect (n):an unpleasant effect of a drug that happens in addition to the main effect

nauseous (adj):feeling as if you might vomit
