leash (n): a piece of rope, chain, etc. tied to an animal, especially to a dog at its collar when taking it for a walk（拴狗等动物用的）绳索，链子
E.g.: Please keep your dog on a leash when on the beach.

breed (n):a particular type of animal or plant:
a breed of dog/cat/horse/sheep/cattle
What’s your favourite breed of dog/dog breed?

pothole (n): a hole in a road surface that results from gradual damage caused by traffic and/or weather:
E.g.: On the way to work I hit a pothole and my phone fell out of the bike basket
