outspoken (adj): 1-expressing strong opinions very directly without worrying if other people are offended
直言不讳的；坦率的，直率的
E.g.: outspoken comments直率的评论
E.g.: She was outspoken in her criticism of the plan.她对该计划的批评直言不讳。

persistent (adj): 1-Someone who is persistent continues doing something or tries to do something in a determined but often unreasonable way.
坚持不懈的；执意的
E.g.: Be persistent – don’t give up. 要坚持不懈——别放弃。

insist on doing something–to keep doing something, even if it annoys other people, or people think it is not good for you

argue (v): 1- to give the reasons for your opinion, idea, belief, etc.
论证；说理；辩论
E.g.: The CEO argued for/in favor of/against making cuts in spending. 部长提出支

well argued (adj): 1-described or asked for in an effective and intelligent way
表述清楚的；有说服力的
E.g. :She presented a well-argued case for banning smoking in public places. 她举了一个很有说服力的案例来说明公共场所应该禁止吸烟

argument (n): 1- a reason or reasons why you support or oppose an idea or suggestion, or the process of explaining these reasons理由，论据，论点；论证，说理
E.g: Now that we’ve heard all the arguments for and against the proposal, let’s vote on it. 既然支持和反对这项提议的所有理由我们都已经听过了，现在投票表决吧。
E.g.: I don’t think that’s a very strong/convincing/powerful argument. 我认为这个论点不太站得住脚／令人信服／有说服力。
