Vocabulary

entire (adj)-整个的, whole or complete, with nothing lacking, or continuous, without interruption:
E.g.: He read the entire book on the flight to Buenos Aires.
E.g.: Her entire family gathered for their annual reunion.
E.g.: I spent an entire month writing that report.

off and on (adj,adv): happening or existing only some of the time:
E.g.: He worked off and on as a bicycle messenger, but he never found permanent work.

detox (n): 1-a period when you stop taking unhealthy or harmful foods, drinks, or drugs into your body for a period of time, in order to improve your health:
E.g.: She went on a 48-hour detox, eating nothing but grapes.
E.g.: a detox diet

work out (v): 1-锻炼;健身 If you work out, you do physical exercises in order to make your body fit and strong.
E.g.: Work out at a gym or swim twice a week.一周去健身房锻炼两次,或游两次泳。

appetite (n): 1-食欲, the feeling that you want to eat food:
E.g.: All that walking has given me an appetite.
E.g.: I won’t have any chocolate, thanks. It will spoil (= reduce) my appetite.
E.g.: I haven’t got much of an appetite (= I am not hungry).

boil (v):to cook food by putting it in water that is boiling:
E.g.: I’ve boiled some potatoes for dinner.
E.g.: boiled carrots
