Vocabulary

melt (v): to turn from something solid into something soft or liquid, or to cause something to do this:
E.g.: The snow usually melts by mid March.
E.g.: Melt the chocolate slowly so that it doesn’t burn.

grateful-We use grateful to talk about how we feel when someone is kind to us or does us a favor:

E.g.: Thank you so much for helping us move house. We are so grateful.

We usually use thankful when we are relieved that something unpleasant or dangerous didn’t happen:

A:
I heard you were in an accident. Are you okay?

B:
I’m fine. There was some damage to the car. I’m just thankful that no one was injured.

cable car (n):缆车 1-a vehicle that hangs from and is moved by a cable and transports people up steep slopes

scenery (n): the general appearance of the natural environment, especially when it is beautiful:
E.g.: beautiful/breathtaking/spectacular scenery
E.g.: They stopped at the top of the hill to admire the scenery.

pass out (v): to become unconscious for a short time, for example when ill, badly hurt, or drunk:
E.g.:I was hit on the head and passed out.
