Vocabulary

cold headed-not easily excited; calm.

day-to-day-happening every day as a regular part of your job or life:
E.g.: day-to-day problems/responsibilities

deadline (n)a time or day by which something must be done:
E.g.: There’s no way I can meet that deadline.
E.g.: We’re working to a tight deadline (= we do not have much time to finish the work).
E.g.: I’m afraid you’ve missed the deadline – the deadline for applications was 30 May.

tight schedule

ahead of schedule-early:
E.g.: We expect the  work on the new product  to be completed ahead of schedule.

on schedule-not early or late
E.g.: The group remains on schedule to open six new outlets in the second half.

according to schedule-at the time or in the way that was planned:
E.g.: If everything goes according to schedule, work will be complete in December.

fall behind schedule-to do less work than you planned to do by a particular point in time
E.g.: We’re falling behind schedule….
E.g.: The project started six months late and continued to fall behind schedule.

review (n): 1-the act of considering something again in order to make changes to it, give an opinion of it or study it:
E.g.: an annual review of company performance

financial/fiscal year-a period of twelve months for which a company prepares its accounts. In the UK, this period often ends at the end of March:
E.g.: the current/previous/next, etc. financial year Profits for the current financial year are expected to rise more than 20%.
E.g.: the beginning/end/second half, etc. of the financial year In the second half of the financial year, we were successful in winning several new contracts.
E.g.: He was paid over £700,000 in the financial year to March 2010.

biannual (adj): 1-happening twice a year:
E.g.: The committee has just published its biannual report.

biannually (adv): 
E.g.: The registry is updated biannually on January 1 and July 1.
